AND THE ONE WITH 2021 - THAT WAS A YEAR HUH?

Twenty twenty one began for me, like many other people across the UK, with getting furloughed from work once again so I did what any sane person would do in a global pandemic and redecorated my room which basically was me leaning into the Kpop room aesthetic with no regrets.
The RJ family grew and so did the plant family, I have no idea what I’m doing with plants (or in life in general really) but I’ve only killed like 1 (or 2) plants this year so that’s great. I may have also developed a squishmallow problem but were not talking about it at the moment (ignorance is bliss occasionally)
We are also not going to talk about how the Kpop collection doubled in size and so did the obsession even going as far as getting a tattoo inspired by a BTS song - I can officially say  in this bangtan sh*t for life.
The tattoo actually inspired me to take steps to be happier in life (somewhat challenging with the past couple of years) and after nearly five years I finally left the job which was just making me absolutely miserable! to start a new job which I really like (the sweet staff discount on Kpop albums sweetens the deal considerably)
I also journaled quite a bit this year and exchanged some lovely penpal letters in 2021. I even got into the craze of decorated top loaders for PCs (something I want to explore more in the new year) and for vaccine cards who knew stickers could even make getting three COVID vaccines better?

Looking back on 2021 it wasn’t all bad I suppose, but here is to 2022 ....
